Day 1 - Darwin to Kakadu National Park We head to the Adelaide River for a one hour boat cruise to watch large saltwater crocodiles leap out of the water up to half their body length. Awesome! Upon entering Kakadu National Park we stop at the Bowali Visitor Centre which contains a wealth of information about the flora, fauna, culture, management and history of Kakadu National Park. We visit Nourlangie Rock, one of the most famous rock art and cultural sites in the world, and Narwurlandja lookout where you can enjoy magnificent views over Kakadu and across to the Arnhem Land Escarpment.  Camp: Permanent Campsite within Kakadu (Toilets/Showers available)

Day 2 – Kakadu National Park Today we “get away from the crowds” with plenty of hiking, exploring and swimming. These walks encompass Kurrundie Falls, Motorcar Falls, Boulder Creek and Gunlom (when accessible). We hold a Special Permit to a restricted area called Moline Rockhole which has picturesque cascades that descend to a waterfall with a clear plunge pool at the base. Camp: Permanent Campsite within Kakadu (Toilets/Showers available)

Day 3 – Kakadu to Darwin Today we head back north through Kakadu stopping to view various displays on Kakadu and learn about the local Aboriginal people. From here we make our way to Gubara where we’ll take a 6km return walk past sandstone cliffs and onto shady monsoon rainforest pools with small cascading waterfalls. Our final destination before heading back to Darwin is Ubirr Rock (subject to accessibility), arguably Kakadu’s best Aboriginal rock art site. If Ubirr Rock is inaccessible we visit Nanguluwar art site which depicts a variety of art styles including the first European contact.
